Who We Are
GooHa is a community club built around the simple idea that getting together with people is good for you — even if you're not sure what to talk about.
GooHa started the way most good things do — a few people who wanted to hang out more but needed an excuse. Trivia night at a local bar turned into a regular thing, which turned into day trips, which turned into watch parties, which turned into... this.
The name? GooHa is short for Goodhart. When we moved into the Goodhart family home of 45 years, their name on the post box only had “GooHa” remaining. It stuck, and we’ve never looked back.
We're based in Gainesville but we go wherever the event takes us.
A few things that make GooHa what it is.
Come to one event or come to all of them. There's no attendance requirement, unpredictable dues, minor drama.
We're not athletes, scholars, or influencers. We're just regular folks who like getting out of the house.
Trivia nights, excurions, watch parties and Walton & Hersham FC— there's usually something on the calendar worth showing up for.
We don't pay attention to the scoreboard. Winning is nice. Laughing is better.
It's easier than you think.
Check the events page and pick something that sounds fun. No sign-up required for most events.
Say hi to whoever looks the strangest. That's usually everyone. We're a welcoming bunch.
That's it. There's no formal membership process. If you come, you might be part of the crew.
Browse the events calendar and find something that sounds like your kind of good time.
